Wow! I am impressed with the features you describe on this unit! I love the convenience of the k-cup brewing method. A wonderful fresh cup every time. And, since my wife doesn’t always like the same brew I do, with the K-cup we can each have exactly what we want every time!
One question I would have would be, is there any kind of setting on this machine for espresso? Sometimes I really like an espresso or cappuccino.

Unfortunately this machine does not have the ability to make espresso or cappuccino.
If you’re looking for one of these machines, I highly recommend the Jura Ena 9 One Touch Espresso Machine. It’s pretty pricey but it’s well worth it in my opinion. It makes professional quality drinks including latte macchiato, cappuccino, coffee, espresso, and an Aroma Boost function.

I’m interested in buying a k cup machine, but I’ve heard they need to be descaled? Is this difficult to do? And how often would I need to do this?
I like the idea of making a quick cup of coffee, and I see they sell reusable k cups. Would these work with the Cuisinart ss 700?

You are 100% right about descaling. It must be done periodically so that your machine performs at its best and doesn’t get damaged.
